Importing & distributing craft wines, beers, spirits, premium foods, and curated lifestyle, Three Little Figs wanted a package design for this new line of products. Without marketing support for some time, the packaging needed to work very hard on the shelves to get attention and also be able to explain the product at a glance.
This package design solution has recently received the Award of Distinction from the 29th Annual Communicator Awards – Promotional Collateral-Packaging.
Evoke a classic butcher shop design style to feel familiar to the shopper.
Utilize a bright colour scheme & patterns, giving the label a unique appeal for this innovative product.
Clean & modern easy-to-ready typography, emphasizing the two words ‘Fig Salami’ to ensure it is the first thing the shopper reads.
Tutto Gourmet imports and distributes a wide variety of Italian food and beverages.
It was key to keep the Pastore logo visible and easily recognizable on various product labels at very small sizes and to make sure the packages appeal to both older and younger consumers.
The use of large type maximized the space in the labels and allows the name to stand out even at the smallest sizes. The choice of colours is also important as it addds to it's look and feel without taking up space in small labels.
My involvement includes the production of artwork, source illustration and photography, image retouching, resizing to supplied die lines, prepare file for printing, and ensure adherence to brand guidelines and packaging regulations.
